Why should I wear hijab??

This is a question with a beautiful answer! Allah has commanded us as Muslims everything that is good for us and prohibited every thing that is bad for us.Allah has commanded us ladies to wear hijab because it IS good for us, sooo InshaAllah let me explain how :)

Well first off we are pleasing Allah by following what is required of us and we can expect to be rewarded InshaAllah.
Think of hijab as our shell and us as precious pearls only to be seen by our husbands and mahrams.It keeps us for being on 'display' for every man to see. It's a protection for our Chasity.Men do not gaze,approach,or speak to you in a sexual way...but he respects you with just one look. Even if the look is not a nice one , he knows the line.We are not oppressed we are free because we are clothed and not walking around naked.Allah wants others to treat you -a Muslim woman-with kindness which hijab brings us.
Allah wants our beauty to be saved for the man who will matter the most our HUSBANDS :). Speaking of Husbands it helps our marriages by keeping our beauty just for him, he will love,cherish,respect and honor you more.
Hijab only has good benefits so it must be because Allah only wants what is good for us us :)

Proper hijab :)

Below is the list of conditions for hijab to fulfill its Islamic purpose

1. Hijab should cover everything except for your face and hands- we will cover niqab another day.

  Surah Al-Nur (the Light) (24:31) in the Quran states: "They (the believing women) should draw their head coverings over their bosoms..."

2. Hijab should be thick enough where you cannot see through it , since the purpose of hijab is to veil ourselves and not show what is not permitted to be seen.

3. You should not perfume yourself, as when you are outside the house around guys it might cause desires.

4. Your clothes should be loose and not show the outline of your body , as it goes against what the main purpose of hijab is. Which is modesty, and saving our beauty for our husbands and Mahrams-(fathers,brothers..guys who we could never marry at any point in our life, ever )

ANNND one of the most important things ..... number..

 5. OUR ATTITUDE!

while in hijab we should present our self in a respectful way - meaning we should not be yelling, cursing , or just generally making attention drawn to us...Us as Muslimahs....wearing hijab we are the first to be recognized as Muslims so we should set a good example for others InshaAllah. :)
